I am a settler of Welsh and Norwegian descent living on the traditional and ancestral lands of a number of Indigenous nations, including the Lummi, Semiahmoo, Tsawwassen, Tulalip, Nooksack, Stz’uminus, Tsawout, Pauquachin, Tsartlip, Tseycum, Malahat, T'Sou-ke, Hul'qumi'num, Halalt, Penelakut, Ts’uubaa-asatx, Lyackson peoples, who have lived in relationship with these lands and their plant and animal relatives since time immemorial. I offer my respect, honor, and gratitude to their elders, past, present and future.

 

I invite all settlers who read this to join me seeking right relationship and repair for our role in the ongoing colonization of homelands stolen from the Indigenous people of this continent. Let's keep learning alongside one another.
