About the event

I am very excited to share that I have been invited to contribute two pieces to this year's The Art Of_ auction. Two of my limited-run prints will be available for viewing and purchase. The prints, first in a limited run of seven, are "Bitch, I Might Be" and "Estuary". I hope to see you in the bidding or at the VIP event in May. Thank you for your support of this cause very close to my heart.

"the Art of" is an online auction event supporting The Laurel Foundation's work to enrich and empower the lives of transgender/gender diverse youth and families affected by HIV/AIDS. From their website:

Donated works from internationally revered, industry-renowned and rising artists all come together on May 2-13 to be auctioned on May 13 on-line at the iconic Bonhams in Los Angeles, California.

The works will be globally promoted for on-line bidding with a viewing…

I am a settler of Welsh and Norwegian descent living on the traditional and ancestral lands of a number of Indigenous nations, including the Lummi, Semiahmoo, Tsawwassen, Tulalip, Nooksack, Stz’uminus, Tsawout, Pauquachin, Tsartlip, Tseycum, Malahat, T'Sou-ke, Hul'qumi'num, Halalt, Penelakut, Ts’uubaa-asatx, Lyackson peoples, who have lived in relationship with these lands and their plant and animal relatives since time immemorial. I offer my respect, honor, and gratitude to their elders, past, present and future.

I invite all settlers who read this to join me seeking right relationship and repair for our role in the ongoing colonization of homelands stolen from the Indigenous people of this continent. Let's keep learning alongside one another.
